LaChelle Gardner Watkins is the President of Comprehensive
Therapy Services, LLC. She services private clients with in-home therapy and
evaluations for Speech and Language Disorders. Her clientele ranges from Infants
and Toddlers, to School Aged Children to Adult Neurogenic Patients. Soror
LaChelle started her business in November 2006. With a Bachelors degree in
Spanish, a Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and years of
experience in Schools and Rehabilitation, Soror LaChelle felt compelled to
answer the entrepreneurial spirit.
As a fairly new business, Soror LaChelle is trying to
acquire new clientele through networking, referrals, and marketing to the school
systems in the area. She continues to work in the school system full time and is
confident her business will grow with time.
Soror LaChelle’s advice to anyone feeling the
entrepreneurial spirit is 1). Know your skill or craft, 2). Get a good
accountant, 3). Have the hunger and strong desire to be your own boss, and 4).
